Mountain Home: summer activities

On foot along the signposted paths there is an infinite number of hiking/trekking routes suitable for all levels of difficulty with the possibility of connections to the Ritom-Piora-Lucomagno region, the Blenio Valley, the Maggia Valley and the Verzasca Valley via the various footpaths.

​This area is also ideal for mountain bike and free flight lovers (paragliding).

Other possible leisure activities: tennis, climbing gym/boulder, swimming pool, agritourism, cultural, eno-gastronomic and sporting events

​By car or postbus/train you can reach the Ritom-Piora, the Gotthard Pass and the Bedretto Valley as well as the nearby Biasca and its side valleys.

Alpine Skiing:

– Ski resort of Carì at 10 minutes by car or postbus (4 km)
– Airolo-Pesciüm, Airolo-Lüina, Prato Leventina approx. 30-40 min. by car
– Cioss-Prato, All’Acqua (Val Bedretto) approx. 50 min. by car
– Skiarena Andermatt 1h by car through the Gotthard Tunnel
